... and another long time between drinks!
Finally got on the water again last Sunday arvo, fishing the high tide at Boambee. Electric fixed and working normally again - thankfully!
A little quiet under the water, different above the water with more boats and kayaks on the creek then we've ever seen before!
Geoff picked up a very nice 45cm? flattie early, we picked up a few undersize ones and I got an undersize Jewfish (37cm? ... my first!!!) on Newports, before finally evening things up with a legal flattie myself.
So a dead heat ... good to finally get back on the water though!
Really need to get myself a shark on our next outing, could be a challenge on my 4lb line with 100mm Squidgie wriggler!
